‘Juego de pelotas’ combines a quiz show with a fun physical element—answer incorrectly and you fall into the water

‘Juego de pelotas’ (‘The quiz with balls’ Spain) will be back soon. After a hit first season that marked the most successful TV debut in Spain in over two years, the format returns with new episodes and fresh surprises. Patricia Conde will host this new season, which has already begun filming. The actress and presenter joins the show to lead this new stage, in which two teams of contestants will once again compete for a cash prize in a “battle against the balls”: six giant balls, a pool, two teams, five players per team… and a host ready to fire questions.

‘Juego de pelotas’ combines humour, knowledge, and spectacular ball hits, returning to Antena 3 after a hugely successful first season. The show promises a highly entertaining family spectacle featuring both celebrity and non-celebrity contestants.

All contestants will compete for cash in this new season of the Spanish adaptation of De Kwis met Ballen – The quiz with balls (Talpa Studios), an internationally successful format created in the Netherlands. Its popularity has spread beyond Spain to the United States, Germany, Uruguay, Portugal, and Argentina. The show is produced by Atresmedia in collaboration with Warner Bros. ITVP Spain.

The first season of ‘Juego de pelotas’ was a major success. With an 18.6% share, 1.4 million average viewers, and over 4 million unique viewers, it became the most successful TV debut in Spain in more than two years, leading its time slot outright. It was particularly popular among younger audiences, averaging a 17.8% share among viewers aged 4–12, and leading among children, women, young adults, and viewers over 65.
